Centerless

Centerless grinding is the artwork we perform, what's that entail your asking? Well for the people that work in a machine shop atmosphere, you kind of have an idea of the type of work we do. But not everyone in the world knows that type of work.  Machine shops and manufacturing facilities produce a round product such as a metal cylinder. They have a print that the part has to be made to, Such prints might call for tight tolerances on outside diameters. These tolerances might not be achieved at the machines that they use to produce such cylinders, so they send their product to an outside vendor such as DM Grinding and we put their product on top priority and grind their O.D's to the right tolerances and we achieve this with modern machining technology at the highest quality, fastest turn around, and competitive pricing!

ThruFeed

A method of centerless grinding in which the regulating wheel and work guides feed the workpiece past the grinding wheel in a straight line. Throughfeed grinding is used primarily to grind straight, cylindrical workpieces with no obstructive features.

InFeed

A method of cylindrical grinding in which the workpiece is held stationary while the grinding wheel is fed into the workpiece at a specified location and depth.

This is just a place holder.

Example video of center-less grinding. This is NOT a DM Grinding machine.
